Arun Rai, MD, MBA, MS
Arun is clinically trained as a minimally invasive surgeon and during the course of training noted that clinical expertise was poorly categorized, and affected the way patients were referred and device collaboration conducted. Alongside the other founders, Arun created Hatchleaf to leverage clinical data to identify and precisely categorize clinical expertise. Arun provides overall leadership and the vision for Hatchleaf, leveraging deep experience in product innovation and health system quality improvement. When he's not working on Hatchleaf, he enjoys traveling and spending time with family.

He earned his BA in Medical Science & Business and MD from Boston University, completing his residency in urologic surgery from Baylor and endourology fellowship at Northwell Health. Arun earned his MS in Healthcare Leadership and MBA, with distinction, from Cornell University where he met Nick.

Dan Cokely, MS
Dan is an leading software engineer and systems architect, having served in senior roles at best-in-class companies such as Insight and Amazon Web Services (AWS), and brings deep machine learning expertise. He has led the development of ProviderIQ, Hatchleaf's flagship product that leverages Hatchleaf's proprietary provider-patient matching and triaging algorithm. Dan is a devoted husband and father, residing in Boston, MA.

Dan earned both his BS and MS in Computer Science from Boston University.

Nick Mitilenes, MBA, MS, FACHE
Nick is an veteran healthcare executive and entrepreneur, providing strategic leadership and overall P&L management to the Hatchleaf team. He brings expertise in executive management, operational and financial leadership, M&A, and product/process innovation. He previously served as a general manager at Opentrons and business cluster president for Eurofins Scientific, in addition to founding and leading various other entrepreneurial ventures. When not at home in New Jersey, Nick enjoys world travel and adventurous cuisine with his wife and children.
Nick earned his AB in Molecular Biology from Colgate University and his MS in Healthcare Leadership and MBA, with distinction, from Cornell University where he met Arun. He received subsequent graduate training at MIT and Harvard and is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Kavi Vyas
Kavi is an experienced commercial leader with a passion for advancing healthcare technology, particularly AI applications. Kavi has 18 years of experience in medtech and has served in various leadership roles including VP Marketing at Viz.ai, CCO at Andromeda Surgical, CCO at Plannery, and CCO at theator, a surgical intelligence platform harnessing advanced AI and computer vision technology to tackle variability and disparity in surgical care. Before that, he was at Penumbra, a healthcare company focused on technology. While there, he launched its Global Vascular and Neurovascular Embolization businesses.

Kavi earned his BS in Biology, concentration in healthcare policy and management, from Stanford University.
